Hi! I’m Elizabeth,

Ever since I was a little girl, horses have been my passion. As a proud owner of 2 wonderful horses, their care and well being has been my biggest priority; as I’m sure many can relate to. When I was 14 years old, working at a barn was my first job. Since then I have been a committed care taker at multiple facilities. Making sure horses are happy and healthy, along with bringing happiness and security to their owners by entrusting me to care for them, has brought so much joy in my life. I knew I wanted to continue building relationships with horses and owners, and making a difference in their lives.

Now I am an equine bodyworker, specializing in Myofascial Release, serving Rhode Island, eastern Connecticut, and parts of Massachusetts. My goal is to help your horse feel their absolute best and strengthen the partnership between horse and rider. By helping find their comfortability and move effectively, I believe the horse and rider’s relationship will become more fluent. (Hence my business name!) By continuing to be a trusted professional, I look forward to assisting partnerships through equine bodywork.

What is Myofascial Release, or MFR?

Myofascial release is a bodywork technique that targets the fascia, or connective tissue that surrounds muscles, bones, nerves, and organs to reduce tension, restore mobility, and relieve pain. Rather than focusing only on individual muscles, myofascial release treats the tissue that links structures throughout the body.

Fascia can become tight, sticky, or restricted. Those restrictions limit movement or alter normal biomechanics. That’s why preforming a biomechanics evaluation is a priority in all of my sessions!

Results come from sustained, gentle pressure and time. Releasing fascial restrictions improves glide between layers of tissue, reduces abnormal strain on muscles and joints, and helps restore normal movement patterns!

Common benefits include:

  • Reduced pain and stiffness

  • Increased range of motion and flexibility

  • Improved posture and movement efficiency

  • Faster recovery after injury

  • Decreased muscle tension
